Spirit-led therapy · Sandy Springs, GA + TelehealthYou know you should pray about it.
But the longer it’s been, the more it feels like you’d have to explain yourself before you could even begin.
That in-between space where your faith and your wounds haven't been introduced to each other yet, that's exactly where I work.
Licensed to provide online therapy across Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, South Carolina & West Virginia
The Honest Truth
You can trace where it started. The love that came with conditions. The relationships that confirmed every fear you already had about what you were worth. The friendships where you poured yourself out and nobody noticed until you stopped. The version of your family you've been quietly grieving because honoring them and honoring yourself keeps feeling like a choice you were never supposed to have to make.
You've built something real in spite of all of it. A career. A life that looks, from the outside, like evidence that you're okay.
BUT
There's a version of you that only comes out in the car. Or at 2am. That version knows something is still unresolved.
AND
Existing while Black or brown in this country is its own accumulating weight. It belongs in the room. Here, it does.
SO
You don't have to have the right words or the cleaned-up version of your story. You just have to be willing to get ready.
My name is Miranda Campbell. I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a woman of God. What I bring into the room that no textbook gave me is a willingness to let the Spirit lead. I've done this work in my own life, in my own wounds, in my own faith.
HEALING THAT GOES ALL THE WAY DOWN
Closer to God
Shame convinces you to stay away from the One who never moved. We heal that distance so you can stop performing your way back.
Closer to yourself
You've shown up for everyone. This work brings you back — made in His image, worthy of the care you've always given away.
Three relationships. One connected healing.
Your wounds don't live in one place. Neither does your healing.
Closer to others
Your wounds show up in how you love and move in friendships, family, and relationships. Healing changes how you relate to love itself.
You don't have to choose where to start. That's what the first session is for.
WHO THIS IS FOR
You don't have to have it together to come here.
You don't have to be a practicing Christian to work with me. You just have to be open — to honest conversation, to exploring how your spiritual and emotional life might be more connected than you've been taught.
You want to run to God but feel too far gone to start
You carry complicated family wounds into every relationship
You're the cycle breaker who still feels something unresolved
You give generously and struggle to receive — in friendships too
The tension between honoring people who hurt you and honoring yourself
My practice is fully affirming of LGBTQ+ identities. Whoever you are and whatever you carry, you are welcome here without condition.
"You are, in fact, having a completely natural reaction to some things that were genuinely hard."

SPIRIT-LED THERAPY
This isn't Christian Counseling in the traditional sense.
You won't be quizzed on scripture. You won't need to prove you're Christian enough or spiritual enough or put-together enough to be here. God simply isn't a no-go zone in my practice anymore. He never should have been.
I work with the whole person — the attachment wounds and the spiritual ones. The clinical and the sacred. Because in my experience, and in my own life, those things were never actually separate.
"He is the OG Counselor. The one who provides solace. We are created in His image. What makes me effective in the therapy room is something I can only attribute to the Spirit. I've stopped pretending that's just good clinical instinct."
Miranda Campbell, LCSW · Biola University · Theology Minor

This is licensed clinical therapy — not coaching, not pastoral counseling, and not spiritual direction. I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of clinical training and experience. What makes this practice distinct is that I don't ask you to leave your faith at the door. The Spirit-led dimension of this work doesn't replace the clinical rigor, it sits alongside it. You get both.

Yes. I offer in-person sessions in Sandy Springs, GA and telehealth sessions for clients located in Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, Delaware, Illinois, West Virginia, Idaho, and Connecticut. Services are provided to clients physically located in a licensed state at the time of session.

Adults who are self-aware enough to know something is still unresolved, and tired enough of carrying it alone to finally do something about it. Many of my clients are high-achieving cycle-breakers in their 30s and beyond, navigating attachment wounds, complicated family dynamics, grief, or estrangement.
A significant number come from BIPOC communities where the weight of existing in this country adds its own layer to everything else. Most have done some form of personal work before. Many are people of faith who have never found a therapist willing to hold both the clinical and the spiritual at the same time. My practice is fully affirming of LGBTQ+ identities.

No. You just have to be open. Open to honest conversation, to exploring how your emotional wounds and your spiritual life might be more connected than you've been taught. Faith is welcome in the room here — but it is never a requirement, and you will never be quizzed on scripture or asked to perform your belief. If you've been hurt by the church or by religion, that belongs in the room too.
